Happy Boy Distributors, Inc based in Spreckels, California began distributing local and award winning Tequila Don Elias in September of 2009. Carefully cared for, distilled and bottled in crystal made bottles in El Arenal, Jalisco Mexico, this fine product has been recognized in many competitions such as the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition gaining a gold medal recognition with Don Elias blanco and a bronze medal with Don Elias extra añejo. Recently, Tequila Don Elias was featured in the December 2010 issue of the Tasting Panel Magazine attributing our Don Elias extra añejo 90 points by the Editor-in-Chief, Mr.  Anthony Dias Blue.  

In addition, Tequila Don Elias has gained recognition in many local tequila events such as the Monterey Tequila Expo gaining “Popular Choice Award” in 2009, and obtaining a medal for all its kind; blanco, reposado, añejo and extra añejo in 2010.
